#56 + #57 – Man Murders Woman 2016

On 3 November 2016, it is alleged that 79 year old John Frescura shot and killed his 68 year old wife Janice Frescura and their 50 year old daughter Robyn before trying to kill himself in their Booral Fraser Coast home. Janice and Robyn Frescura were the 56th and 57th women killed by known or suspected male violence in 2016 in Australia.

It is reported that John Frescura called police to confess to the killings.

Emergency services took John and Janice Frescura to hospital and both have since died.
