It is with much sadness we report the murder of the 34th woman to male violence in Australia this year.
Daryl Royston Wayne Cook, 34-35, has been charged with murder and aggravated armed robbery in relation to the death of Voula Delios on 23rd July 2016.
It is alleged that Mr Cook stabbed the 68 year old victim repeatedly and stole the cash from her A&B Food store on Elizabeth St, a busy cafe street in North Hobart.
Our hearts go out to Mrs Delios’s family & friends.
