This is a count of women killed by known or suspected male violence in a Australia, jointly undertaken by Reclaim the Night Perth and Women Shout Out Australia.
Iuliana Triscaru (31) disappeared from her Logan home on January 24, along with Cory Breton (28). Both were later found in a dam south of Brisbane.
Two men are alleged to have killed Ms Triscaru and Mr Breton, with another two men and a woman charged in relation to the deaths, in what was reported as a drug-related crime.
Condolences go to Ms Triscaru and Mr Breton’s family and friends.
UPDATE: Six men and one woman have been charged with two counts of murder: Tepuna Tupuna Mariri, 25; Ngatokoona Maretti, 36; Tuhirangi-Thomas Tahiata, 24; Webbstar Latu, 31; Davy Malu Junior Taiao, 21; Stou Daniels, 21; and Trent Michael Thrupp, 22.
