#12 + #13 – Man Murders Woman 2016

This is a count of women killed by known or suspected male violence in a Australia, jointly undertaken by Reclaim the Night Perth and Women Shout Out Australia.

Manjinder Ghuman

Balwinder Singh Ghuman, 43, was charged with 2 counts of murder for murdering his wife Manjinder, 43, and mother-in-law Sukhwinder Ghuman, 66, on Monday 14 March 2016 at Gordonvale, south of Cairns.

He also stands also accused of stabbing his father-in-law Sarwan Singh Ghuman, 72, in the chest during the brutal attack on the two women.
Ghuman has been charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and two other offences including injuring his 17-year-old daughter.

Murder victim Manjinder Ghuman was a much-loved member of the Gordonvale community.
Condolences go to Ms Manjinder Ghuman and Ms Sukhwinder Ghuman’s family and friends.
