This is a count of women killed by known or suspected male violence in a Australia, jointly undertaken by Reclaim the Night Perth and Women Shout Out Australia.
March 9, Jody Websdale, 42, who lived with partner Damian Couzens, 36, in an apartment complex on Cooper Street at Midland in Perth’s east was found in the courtyard with injuries to her throat.
Ms Websdale was rushed to Midland hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Damian Couzens has been remanded in custody to face the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court next month. Jody was a mother to 4 adult children.
Condolences go to Ms Websdale’s family and friends.
